The mission of Early Childhood Education is to provide a high quality early education program to maximize school readiness.
Canoga Park Early Education Center Nature Explore Classroom
Canoga Park EEC is located in a residential area of Canoga Park serving families who qualify for early care and education based on State determined income criteria as well as eligibility for the program. Our center provides full-day and part-day programs for children 2 to 5 years of age and their families. We have adopted the newest edition of The Creative Curriculum, which supports children's development and learning in a creative environment with caring and quality teaching, while partnering with families. Children are actively involved in investigations in a variety of areas throughout the school year. Each year, we expand technology for students and staff through training and updating equipment and software. We are proud of the recent addition of the Nature Explore area created and designed to inspire children outdoors to explore their environment and connect with nature. We ensure the physical and emotional safety of every single student in our school.
Ribbon Cuttiong Ceremony 2017
Nature Explore Classroom-Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
What a fabulous celebration for our students, their families, staff and community members at Canoga Park Early Education Center! Our students performed by singing "Listen to the Water" and dancing the Mexican Hat Dance. We then cut the ribbon to inaugurate our new outdoor classroom, and followed with a reception and community involvement program for our parents and care providers. We are so proud to be a certified Nature Explore classroom! Thank you all for your never ending support!!!

We empower and engage parents and we partner with the community. We hold regular meetings for parents and have an active Parent Advisory Committee. We maintain ongoing communication with parents and providers through monthly newsletters and a dedicated website. Parents have opportunities to volunteer, visit, observe, and support our school in many ways. Among our partners are Pepperdine University students who assist us in promoting literacy through JumpStart, as well as Ready, Set, Read! and Scholastic.
